Gulay Tekin

Gulay has 20 years’ experience delivering high-end design schemes for large and complex multi-disciplinary building projects ranging from new-build retail developments, hospitality, and high-rise to mixed-use developments and commercial projects.

Gulay has worked throughout the UK and the Middle East. She joined Opera seven years ago and previously worked with AECOM International, based in the UAE. Gulay has extensive retail experience, having worked on several retail schemes in the UK, most recently The Fitzrovia, 247 Tottenham Court Road for M&G, Norton Folgate for British Land, and the Battersea Power Station development for BPSDC.

As a senior project manager with a keen interest in interior design, she offers expertise in project management techniques, concept design, and design development. Gulay strongly believes in working closely with clients and project teams to build strong relationships, to allow collaboration and transparency throughout the project lifecycle.

Gulay is a member of the Association for Project Management (APM), the chartered body for the project management profession.
