James Lawless

James is a director at Opera with 20 years' experience in project management, working across a diverse mix of private and public sector projects with a value range from £250K to £2bn.

James has a proven track record in leading complex commercial developer new build and multi-phased refurbishment projects in central London, from inception to completion. James is passionate about sustainable design and construction, with recent experience in mass timber construction and zero carbon development strategies. He applies consistent logical thought to all aspects of his work and is adept at fostering collaborative working relationships between project teams and stakeholders to achieve successful project outcomes.

James is responsible for service delivery at Opera and is part of the management board. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Building.
