Folgate House is an existing 1960s office building located in the residential neighbourhood of historic Spitalfields, within the borough of Tower Hamlets.
FORA, backed by Brockton Capital, is a new ‘pro-working’ concept set to challenge existing co-working and serviced office brands. This is one of eight FORA developments underway; the first opened in Clerkenwell.
Opera was appointed by Brockton as project managers and brought together a team of refurbishment specialists to achieve maximum value from the existing property. The comprehensive refurbishment involved stripping the property back to its shell and creating a completely new layout suitable for FORA’s flexible concept. New utility supplies and MEP were installed to support a high density occupation. The existing courtyard will also be enclosed to provide additional social space for occupiers.
